Kindred Market is a full-service, organic, and natural products grocer in Athens, Ohio. Kindred Market is a locally and family owned, community-inspired grocer who wants you, your family, and your friends to eat well, embrace community, and lead happy, healthy lives. We are honored and excited to serve Athens.
Our family and team members are part of the community and we are passionate about supporting the local causes that are important to our shoppers and neighbors. We donate food, whenever possible, to area food banks, shelters, and Athens Food Rescue.
We strongly encourage our team members to volunteer their time and expertise to any local non-profit about which they are passionate, and we support their ability to do so with flexible schedules, whenever possible, to attend meetings, functions, etc.
Kindred Market is proud to support 501(c)3 non-profit organizations in our community. We do not make contributions to political parties, candidates, or lobbying groups. We select a different organization each month and donate 1ยข of each dollar spent on the Saturdays during that month.
