Athens Bread Company is a bakery and panini shop owned by head baker, Douglass Wistendahl, who was raised in Athens and returned to pursue his passion for bread after practicing law in New York City for over 30 years.
Our bread is the product of old recipes and new inspiration, our pastries are exquisite, and our panini are the bomb. Everything in our bakery is shaped, chopped, weighed, sprinkled, crumbled, sliced and rolled by hand.
